MyLocalMasjid ("the App") is provided by Aqeel Tassawar as a free service. This page explains what information the App collects and how it is used.

Information We Collect

The App does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information.

The following data may be collected automatically through third-party services:

• Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage data (screens viewed, app opens). No personally identifiable information is included.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — a device token is generated to deliver push notifications. This token is not linked to your identity.
• Firebase Crashlytics — anonymous crash reports to help us improve stability.

Location Data

The App requests access to your device location solely to calculate the Qibla direction (compass). Location data is processed on-device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Prayer Time Data

Prayer timetables are downloaded from Firebase Storage and cached locally on your device. No personal data is associated with these downloads.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase
• Google Play Services

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
